Bangkok Day 2 - Chatuchak Weekend Market, Asiatique

The next day which is a Sunday, we went to Chatuchak Weekend Market! I bet almost all of you know that it's a MUST GO place in BKK hahaha. It's a weekend market so if you don't wanna miss going Chatuchak, obviously you have to be in BKK during the weekend!

Chatuchak Weekend Market

Nearest BTS Station : Mo Chit

Operating hours : Friday 18:00 - 24:00
Saturday & Sunday 9.00 - 18.00

Chatuchak is really freaking HUGE and I would say that it's impossible to shop the whole Chatuchak. It's grouped into 27 sections which sell different kind of stuff, so make sure you marked down which sections you wanna visit before you go there! Here's Chatuchak's map for your reference :

People mountain people sea!

Some protestion going on against using Buddha as decoration or tattoo

Super pretty plants which are only 35 baht!! Omg how I wish I can bring them home!!

HEY CUTIE
Thai people really love to rear cute puppies!!

The legendary Chatuchak coconut ice cream!! (We chose our own toppings) YUMS!

Super nice thai milk tea which I can finish drinking in just a few sips HAHA. TOO NICE

Fancy decorations and clothings! Haha so creative

We also visted Napat Closet & Cafe in Section 2 which I've already blogged about it here

Chatuchak is a really AWESOME place to shop and eat and shop and eat and shop and eat HAHAHA. The only thing is that it's REALLY HOT. Gosh it's sucha pity that we missed out the pets section!! Wanted to see all the cute pets there but we only managed to recall about it after we left Chatuchak. SIGH... CRIES A RIVER. Well, Chatuchak is definitely my favourite spot to shop in BKK!!

After shopping for the whole day, we went back to the hotel to put our loots and took a rest.
Later on, we headed to Asiatique!

Asiatique
Charoenkrung road Soi 74 - 76
Operating hours : 5.00 pm - midnight

Asiatique is a famous tourist attraction where you can shop, dine, chill and enjoy the beautiful scenery by the river.
The magical ferris wheel 'Asiatique Sky' is also located there!

We settled our dinner in a Thai restaurant. EVERY SINGLE DISH IS SOOOOO YUMMY

Coconut ice cream again hehehe

My lovely parents!

Ferris wheel 'Asiatique Sky'

SOOOOOO PRETTY AND FASCINATING

River cruise

I would say that Asiatique is definitely a nice place to dine or chill and enjoy the beautiful scenery there!! However, it's not a nice place to shop though. Ohya, there's a few local product shops there and it's always packed with tourists. So if you wanna grab some Thai products back home like seaweeds or Pocky, this is a great chance for you to do so!!

That's all for Day 2! Stay tuned for the rest :-)
