Bangkok Day 3 - Siam, Terminal 21

Hello folks! Sorry for the hiatus and i'm finally back to blog about my BKK Day 3!!

On the third day, we went to quite a number of shopping centres. We walked from our hotel to Platinum Fashion Mall > Central World > Siam Paragon > Siam Center > Siam Square. If you're staying at Pratunam area just like me, I would suggest you to shop according to this route! All these shopping centres that I mentioned are actually walking distance from Pratunam. Though it's a little tiring to walk, we really enjoyed roaming and exploring the streets of BKK

Outside Platinum Fashion Mall
Nearest BTS Station : Chit Lom

I'm sure that most of you already know about this shopping paradise!! It has sooo many levels that it's really impossible to shop the whole mall within a few hours. I would say that the price here is slightly more expensive as compared to Pratunam and Chatuchak but you can get a cheaper price if you're buying quite a number of items from the same shop

 Outside Central World

Big C Supercenter

Nearest BTS Station : Chit Lom / Siam

If you wanna buy groceries or snacks, you can head to Big C Supermarket which is just right opposite Central World.
We skipped here to save our time though hehe

After You @ Central World 7th floor

I was so excited to try this highly raved dessert After You and I was not disappointed at all!!
TRUST ME IT IS DAMN AWESOME. We went to the one in Central World and we are so lucky that we do not have to queue for it at that time hehe (it is always packed!)

Shibuya honey toast / Ferrero toast / Thai milk tea

SOOOOO YUMMY OMG I'M CRAVING FOR THIS NOW

On our way to Siam Paragon

Mr Jones' Orphanage @ Siam Center 3rd floor

We went to another popular dessert cafe called Mr Jones' Orphanage. The deco there is really special and nice! It is so heartwarming and full of teddy bears. The cakes are nice but the staffs there are quite unfriendly

My lovely parents hahaha

Busy street outside Siam Center

After Siam Center, we headed to Siam Square
Siam Square is actually a shopping area with lots of Soi (streets) so we just walked and shop around!

Here's a map for your reference :

Mango Tango @ Siam Square Soi 3

Here's the highly raved and popular Mango Tango!! However, we didn't get to try it becz it was full house and the queue was too long at that time (CRIES). Don't forget to try this if you are there!

Hello Kitty Cafe @ Siam Square One
We passed by this HK cafe but we didn't enter becz we are not a fan of it. Don't ever miss this if you're a HK lover!! Hahaha

After You @ Siam Square One (so pretty!!)

Som Tam Nua @ Siam Square Soi 5
392/14 Siam Square Soi 5, Rama 1 Road, Bangkok
Operating hours :10:45 am - 9.30 pm

We settled our dinner at a really popular and MUST GO Thai restaurant, Som Tam Nua. 'Som Tam' actually means papaya salad. You know this restaurant gotta be good when the restaurant is full of locals and there is a long queue!! Hahaha. We browsed the menu and ordered our food first while queuing for our turn.

Everything is sooo yummy especially the FRIED CHICKEN. IT'S A MUST-ORDER!!!
Everyone who visited there would definitely recommend their fried chicken!

Som Tam

The super yummy fried chicken! MUST-EAT!!

After dinner, we took a cab to Terminal 21. It's a really interesting shopping centre with a very special concept. Each floor comes with different themes which represent different cities/countries. Every toilet is designed differently according to the respective city too!! So cool! Sadly I didn't take much photos over there becz I was already tired at that time hahaha
